Hello and Happy Fall!
Please come join the upstairs Noah adult Sunday School class for coffee and discussion each Sunday morning starting at 9:30am.

Class kicked off with a study of Jonah
Many thanks to Bill Blake leading 2 sessions on Jonah. Though a quick read, we learned this book of the Old Testament is about much more than a fish tale! If you missed the lesson, take minute and see what the story of Jonah is really about - a wicked town called Nineveh or a servant of God who needed to learn a few lessons and rethink his approach?

This Sunday, October 7: The inside story on Isaac and Rebekah
Coming up we welcome Buddy Lucord as guest teacher for a lesson on Isaac and Rebekah. Buddy reports that we may just be surprised with this lesson! Buddy will continue to periodically guest teach our class as his schedule allows.

October 14 begins a series on the New Testament
We will be studying from a DVD series of 30 minute lectures by Dr. Bart Ehrman, Chair of the Dept. of Religious studies at the University of NC at Chapel Hill. Dr. Erhman's goal is to help us "come to a fuller appreciation and understanding of the New Testament books that have made such an enormous impact on the history of Western civilization, and that continue to play such an important role for people today." After each session we'll have a group discussion.

ALL ARE WELCOME!
