WOW "WELCOME ON WEDNESDAY"

Everyone... and we mean everyone, not just church members -- is invited to begin the evening with piping hot soup, tasty melted buttered bread, and a dessert, promptly at 5:30 each Wednesday.

You don't have to pay anything if you don't have it, but if you can toss a buck or two in the basket, it will help our preparer, Mrs. Jean Carr, who bears all the expenses herself. The meal is usually a light-hearted time with a lot of banter around the table.

Immediately following the dessert, our Senior Minister, Dr. William Blake, leads a study of the Biblical writings. Currently the study centers on the Jewish historical and poetic books. The modern language Good News Translation of the Bible is used in the study, and workbooks are given to all participants. The Wednesday gathering ends at 7:00 p.m.
