Education

Education is one of the most important ministries of any church.  At Battery Park, we have "Sunday School" each week at 9:30 a.m. for an hour.  There are three ADULT classes, organized around age groups. 

Our CHILDREN are the future of the church.  Ranging from nursery and preschool, into the school years, our kids come each week to learn how to apply Jesus' teachings to their everyday challenges.

Teens attend our YOUTH class and fellowship group.  They are vital participants in many ways, including service to both congregation and the community.  We have some very talented young members.

As is true with most denominations, you see a lot of grey hair as you look around our church.  SENIORS are active on many levels, and some in the Fidelis Class have been attending for over 60 years!

WOW stands for Welcome on Wednesdays, when members and non-members are invited to enjoy soup and bread followed by Bible study led by our pastor, Dr. William Blake.
